This course explains how person centered care (PCC) differs from other models of care.

Overview

After completing this course, practitioners will be able to recognize why PCC is especially important in providing care for older adults (including those with cognitive impairments), and will understand how to engage individuals, their loved ones, and caretakers in this model of care.
