Research & Programs

The Hartford Institute for Geriatric Nursing (HIGN) is an integral part of NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing. This relationship provides opportunities for scientists to further their investigations and develop evidence for practice, and for educators to integrate the newest and most relevant approaches to the care of older adults into undergraduate and graduate curricula.

HIGN draws upon the research and expertise of the college faculty to provide evidence that supports practice that is effective, safe and inclusive for older adults.
