This course explains how person and family-centered care (PFCC) differs from other models of care.

Overview

After completing this course, practitioners will be able to recognize why PFCC is especially important in providing care for older adults (including those with cognitive impairments), and will understand how to engage individuals, family members, and caretakers in this model of care.
