This course reviews and compares the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders’ (DSM-IV and DSM-V) criteria for dementia, delirium and depression.
Overview
After taking this course, practitioners will be able to recognize identify, asses, and screen for dementia, delirium, and depression. Learners will also be able to understand the hallmarks of each of these conditions in older adults and detect red flags.
