This webinar will educate and equip you with the knowledge and tools necessary to provide holistic care to older adults; discuss how individuals have integrated physical, emotional, social and spiritual dimensions; and prepare you to recognize and know that the ultimate goal for providing spiritual care is to support and enhance QOL. The webinar will also discuss how to recognize indicators of spiritual distress and assist in providing spiritual wellness.

Author

Nanci McLeskey, MCG, MDiv, RN-BC, FNGNA received a B.S. in nursing from Columbia University School of Nursing in NYC. After 20+ years as an ICU and medical-surgical nurse, she completed a Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) Unit from Scott and White Hospital, Temple, TX, received a Masters of Gerontology from Baylor University, Waco, TX, and a Masters of Divinity from Truett Seminary, Baylor University, was awarded the Teaching Nursing Post Masters Certificate at the University of Utah, and became an ELNEC (End of Life Nursing Education Consortium) geriatric trainer.
