20th Annual Summer Scholars Program
Monday July 10, 2017 to Friday July 14, 2017

The 20th Annual Summer Scholars program is a week-long, intensive, summer seminar held at the New York University College of Nursing in partnership with faculty from the NYU Silver School of Social Work and NYU School of Medicine, Division of Geriatric and Palliative Medicine. This program is open to doctorally prepared nurses, physicians, social workers, occupational and physical therapists, pharmacists and other health care professionals. It is an in-depth mentoring experience with nationally recognized geriatric researchers.

PARTICIPANT ELIGIBILITY

  • Completed accredited doctoral degree
  • Affiliation with a university, healthcare institution, public health organization or health related government entity
  • Demonstrated potential for outstanding research in areas such as chronic disease management or healthy aging
  • Recommendation from a senior faculty member or healthcare administrator
