There is a direct relationship between oral health and nutrition. This module highlights this connection within the older adult population and provides tips on maintaining a healthy diet and oral health.

Overview

This module is part of our Oral Health Series for older adults. The goals of this series are to raise awareness of common problems and risk factors that are prevalent in this population. These modules were created as a collaboratively by: Oral Health of America, the Hartford Institute for Geriatric Nursing (HIGN) at NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing, Oral Health Nursing Education and Practice (OHNEP) at NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing, and the NYU College of Dentistry.
